Anyone on Orang PAYG?
this has really been bugging me! I'm on Orange PAYG and I can't send or receive MMS messages.
When I send on it simply does not send, and when I get sent one it just says heres your username and password (a randomly generated one) and goto orange site and check it out.
Can anyone else who's on orange actually receive and send on their orange phones????

You need to phone 450 and request that MMS be added to your account.
you are getting what is known as the 'legacy message' which refers you to the website to view a rec'd MMS.
When your service is provisioned with MMS also request VMMS (video-MMS) as this is needed for short video clips upto 10-15secs to be sent/received.
You will then in the next 24hrs rec'v anywhere between 1-8 service messages (all generally within 5mins). You need to read/delete, handset off& on.
Then your account + sim are provisioned with MMS/VMMS.
Then it may be a case of having the correct settings on your handset. For this you can request to be transferred to data/support or MTS dept. but they are REALLY REALLY busy, can take upto 30mins + to get through.
for your settings, usually easy to go to manufacturer's website, or hxxp://setup.orange.co.uk and send yourself the settings.

pS) when you phone up, go through to PAYG helpdesk, don't select to go through for MMS dept... it'll take you forever. PAYG helpdesk will provision acct. do the settings yourself.
if you have problems with the settings, i can help you out.

no probs.
sims are usually provisioned with MMS from registration unless they are sold in a non-MMS phone, or if they're old.
