Sky One channel

Is Sky One and Sky Atlantic only available on Sky or can it be watched over the internet on Netflix or Amazon or something similar?

Virgin TV is not an option though I do have Virgin internet.

I'm getting a new smart TV with freeview play and recording to USB on it.

I want to dump Sky but my partner must have Sky One and Sky Atlantic.

Sky & BT have just announced a channel sharing scheme where BT will have access to both at some time in the near future. They're also sharing the sports channels.

NOW TV gives you access to Sky channels BUT no recording facility.

The NowTV smart box replicates Sky+ to a small degree and allows one to pause but still no full-fledged recording facility.

"Early 2019" is hardly the near future and certainly should not influence anyone wanting to "dump Sky" this year....

I've not seen any dates regarding this previously, makes sense though with the new PL deal up for grabs in a few days. Cheers.
