That's not true. Ours developed a fault. We reported it to John Lewis who contacted LG. They appointed an external firm to effect a repair.0 -
If the TV was bought on a credit card it's worth checking if the card issuer included accidental damage insurance. See post #25 of

where someone successfully claimed that way.
That was 5 years ago. The number of cards that provide insurance on purchases is now few and far between and tends to be the cards that you have to pay a subscription for.0 -
