Hi, Welsh Jester.
I'd also like to know where i can get some 'cheapish' fireworks from.
I don't see how people are saying this poster is a spammer by asking for the cheapest site?
Anyway, does anyone actually know of a reputable site? Much appreciated if so.

should be a crime to do it on any night other than nov 5th. merely an acceptable form of ant-social behaviour.
Note that Diwali:D this year is on the 9th, hence expect to hear fireworks well after bonfire night. Generally diwali comes at the same time as bonfire night but this time it is a few days afterwards.0 -
Please can somebody tell me the cheapest site?0

I have never had any trouble with any fireworks but last year bought a selection box from Lidl and some extra rockets.
The Catherine wheel exploded in one go within seconds of lighting the touch paper, scaring my kids half to death and leaving me with a permanent hearing loss which also affects my balance. A couple of the roman candle type failed too, one showering us with burning sparks. Finally a rocket went up, failed and then came straight down again exploding when it hit the ground just feet from us.
After mentioning it at work I heard other horror stories about their fireworks.
Everybody I knew who had bought them had at least 2 failures.
I wrote a letter but they didn't give a damn and insisted they were safe.
I don't think I will be buying any at all this year!
i have always bought fireworks from lidl and have never had any problems with them. in fact, they are the best fireworks in my area i think. that said, ive never tried the selection boxes. how many multi-shots do you get in the black nebula box?0 -

Here is a comprehensive list of UK firework suppliers:

Even with a handy map:

I have used Epic (batley) and the firework store (wakefield) and found them both to be excellent.0
