a little late but I've done well .
For dec 2018 I saved - £19.13 from Save the change lloyds account

Just transferred my final amount for 2018 of £7.39 :j. Bring my total in my cap to £418.24 :j:j:j

When I started this challenge, I chose a low amount of £250, not even sure if it was achievable! Fairly early on I increased my goal to £350, and have managed to smash that too!!! I've surprised myself with how addictive this has been and it's really helped me focus on watching my bank balance and focus on saving!

The question now is what do I do with this money I saved? Firstly, I'm going to move it across to an instant access ISA I have to free my virtual savings pot for 2019's challenge :T. My husband and I have got a weekend away to Dublin booked for February, so I may use some of it there, but for now, I want to keep it, it's security for me.

I have to say a huge thank you to Westie for the running of this challenge:T:T. I know he (I've just presumed Westie is a he, feel free to correct me!) hasn't had the easiest year but has kept the thread going and kept me motivated to save, I really hope you continue with the challenge next year, please sign me up!!!

Lastly, well done to all you savers, no matter the amount, it all helps!

You have smashed it,

I am actually a she, but you are forgiven, sorry for be AWOL - I have been quite unwell with a brief stay in hospital again and I was taken out for my birthday on Thursday, so just feeling better to check and update.

I will attempt to set up 2019 really soon but need a few hours where my head and pain levels are low enough to do it.

Happy new year to all my followers on this thread we have dropped off a-lot this year but as long as I still have followers at this stage then I will continue with the challenge.

Anymore for anymore before I clear everything for the new challenge.
