Can download films and TV series from Netflix, sign up for 1 month download what takes your fancy and cancel it before the month is up.

Depends how much on board storage you have, an SD card might be ideal.

Not the cheapest I know, other means are possible, 1 I know of is frowned upon but let's not go there.

As Robin has pointed out iPlayer is an alternative and a cheaper 1 if you already have a licence.

You can download movies and tv series free on Iplayer for up to a month (as long as you have a valid tv licence), Go to Play app store.

They have a few good movies at present plus they are trailing tv box sets.

Enter or paste a URL from YouTube, Facebook, DailyMotion, Vimeo and various other video websites and click the Catch button.

In Youtube on Android device tap the playing video and a menu appears, tap the Share icon on the top menu, 2nd from left (right pointing arrow) this will bring up the Share Menu, tap Copy link - you can then paste this into URL box in catchvideo.net, if you long press in URL box Paste will display, tap this to paste URL of video.

Yes to tablet internal memory not to a SD card

They mostly will expire after 30 days

You don't need wifi to view downloaded items
