i thought we cannot extend its regular saver at 5% anymore?

It will no longer be possible to have another FlexDirect current account at 5%, but you are allowed to renew the Flexclusive Regular Saver at 5% (although it now only allows £250 to be paid in per month, rather than the £500 the previous issue allowed.)
  • Opened it via the main page as advised. Pity its dropped by £250 for each month but at least its still 5%!

Santander, HSBC, First Direct and M&S.

With Santander and HSBC, you have to have a specific current current account with them to get that rate, otherwise you would get a lower rate version. M&S require Direct Debits.

I think this is the thread you mean: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/608697

Click "Banking & Savings" at the top of the page.
    Then click "Savings"
    Then click "Regular Savings Accounts"

Or maybe you mean Special Saver 2's thread? Well if you're set up for 20 threads per page then it's on page 6, last updated just over a week ago.

I did the same, and today a “cash withdrawal” of £250 went through so assume in progress and will appear online shortly
