I did skim through the transcript and it looked pretty good. I've earmarked it for more thorough contemplation.

I am say reconciling expenses claims for work, and not going to move until it's done! Much procrastination this holidays to date! (Duh!)0

oooops.
A new airer was forced onto me by OH. Clearly the bent rusty one was felt not to be up to the job. Could have replaced it with a cheap one, but I've had my eye on a rather fab wooden one in Dunhelm for about a year.
Oh well, if it lasts as long as the other one, I'll get my money's worthLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
Evening all,
Not a bad day. City centre trip went ok...mr f was so long in 'Fopp' deciding what to buy with his Christmas present voucher that our car park ticket ran out before I could face temptation in 'Monsoon' or 'Schuh' so my Christmas money has survived to see another day!
*Had coffee out but paid using our personal spends so no effect on budget. Shared a scone to keep it real.
*Remembered to take a bit of cash for buying a couple of soap dishes.....the only ones I liked were in the sale so that was a win-win.
*Had hoped for a bit of a scoop in the Body Shop sale & managed to get all I wanted for £24.50. Full price should have been £65. Biggest savings on their pomegranate firming day cream & night cream. Range is being discontinued so instead of £19 & £21 respectively, it was being sold off for £5 something & £6 something.
*We were nearly tempted to have lunch out but were angelic & drove home for cheese on toast & crisps.
*Boxed up 2 lots of stuff for 'Ziffit' this afternoon. All the checking & sorting took ages but the website & sales process is straightforward & our trades came to a useful £89 with more to do when my eyeballs have recovered.
*Discovered mr f only needs another £5 to cash out on Yougov & I need another £14. So that will be another £100 into the re-launched loan pay-down fund this year from that alone.
*Knit more jumper.
Love to all,

So I’ve got up for a brew and some jobs before the rest of the house gets up. Jobs today:
Get Christmas decks back in loft, take indoor lights down and pack away
Some more radiator shuffling of washing
Small shop using list as entertaining tonight but only a couple of things. Will get black beans out of freezer for chilli
Move some money from some pots for a couple of clothes items and some Christmas gifts for next year I bought in the sales
Plan what I need to do between now and when we go away Tuesday and if anything needs to be ready for when we are back so I’m not on the back foot.
Think that’s about all folks, nice to think I don’t have to go to work for a whole week, including weekends that’s 9 days. Happy Purps.
Productive day in the end. Couple of items on list were ys which helps as food so darn expensive. Popped to mr w as 1 thing I needed they didn’t have at mr t. Got ys pie, bananas and items I wanted for£2.85. Plus free drink and mag. Well worth it. Pie in freezer0 -
Have completed two stages of a mega expenses submission. Final stage tomorrow after driving home from my pals. Resolved to do this monthly next year! Good chat with my boss via text has reassured me about development opportunities this year. Have accepted a booking from some paying guests for the next few nights, will bank around 100 once I have stocked up on fresh food...cupboard is bare at the moment...so is the bank balance so this will be really helpful! Will try to count my blessings as I clean!0

Evening all, I was back at work today and it was a tough one with so many post Christmas reductions to be done. Lots of people have made lots of saving though so lots of happy customers! I nabbed all the much-reduced cheddar for a dog rescue centre that I follow on FB though there is even more due to be reduced tomorrow. I will take it down on Monday, I've been meaning to register to walk them for ages to I could do that at the same time.
I splurged on a Chinese tonight but kept it cheap and collected on my way past (in the past I would have added enough to reach the threshold for free delivery.)
I finally got my staff discount card today! There is an extra 5% off (on top of the usual 10%) for another couple of days but there's nothing I really want or need (except maybe more cheese!)Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Morning folks
An unexpected day off for me. None of the vessels are working so there's just no point me being in today or tomorrow. It's a steely grey day here so I don't think we'll go out. Just looking out of the window and the horses that are usually in the field opposite have been replaced by sheep. They look cold too.
Not sure what to do with my free day... I think I'll start the other sleeve of the toddler cardigan I was crocheting. I'm not entirely sure that it will fit the little one I'm intending it for although it could easily be extended with some ribbing at the bottom and around the edges.
Also should probably add the buttons to my cardi. I'm determined to finish up a load of WIPs before I begin learning to knit. - done! Another job sorted
I'm slightly stuck on one of the instructions. At the end of the sleeve, it asks me to put stitch markers in 2 of the end stitches and then says "continue even in pattern for 2 rows". That makes no sense to me. All the other sections just say "continue in pattern". Any thoughts folks? I tried posting on Ravelry but no replies.
Other mseness:- Heating mostly off hopefully. It was on most of yesterday and the house is quite warm now.
- OH gigging. Encourage him to do his invoices today.
- Might cook a fancy loaf of bread. I once tried to make a marmalade and cinnamon swirl but it was an epic fail. Think I'll try again to use up some of my homemade marmalade.
- B/L/D from stores
- Big budget day for Jan
- Free stretching video to try and get a bit of movement back into my body after 2 weeks illness. Rib still a bit sore but improving rapidly.
- General chuff round the house to make sure it's tidy - start the new year as you mean to go on eh?
- And on that note... NOT going out for NYE. I like to start the new year clear headed, sober, rested and content.
