Storck THANK YOU so much for your help over the years, you really have done is proud. So many of us would have ended up queueing on wrong days if it wasn't for your "predictions". Thank you. You are the stuff of legends!!
Good luck in your next venture and whatever it brings. xx0 -

It is! Its just the thrill of wondering what you'll get that you want. It wouldn't be January without it. There was one year I was very near the front of the queue and when the doors opened I actually ran down the middle isle. Totally overcome by adrenalin and the thrill of "You are RUNNING into a sale like they do on telly" followed a nanosecond later by "The is wrong but oh so right" and by 8 yards in I caught sight of a Sales Assistants face as I galloped past her and the feeling of shame it gave me is still etched on my memory. I've never seen someone look so bemused and disgusted at the same time. The way I see it is, if that's how I get my adrenalin rush then so be it. Some people gamble or take crack cocaine. Trying to figure out the day they'll switch the signs round from the 50% off side to get overpriced toiletries cheaper is small fry really isn't ot?! Ha ha haa ha!! 🤣0 -
I haven't had the chance to go for many years, it sounds like it has changed a lot! I'll give it a go tomorrow though, hopefully every one gets what they want.
I remember the last time I went there were no queues outside I walked in about 10 ish and there were lots of things left0 -
Hia
I really am having a fried brain moment here.
The 70% off is off which price?
The original selling price on the item green label
eg Jack Willis Bag originally £50 so 70% off = £15.00 total
or
The new price where something has already been marked down half price on the shelf?
eg Jack Willis Bag originally £50, 1/2 price £25 on shelf so 70% off = £7.50
Told you my brain was fried!!!
Any constructive pointers would be gratefully received. My Hubby did a recce just before closing as I'm in a powerchair and 1)wanted to see if there was anything worth going for 2) if there was, where it was located - to give me any chance of finding it....:rotfl:0 -

I'm the same, but breaking with tradition this year. I'm working in a different location from usual this year, there is one store on my way to the office, I've had a look this afternoon there and theres nothing I really want (and lets face it, theres never been anything I've needed from the Boots 70% sale).
Enjoy those who face the scrum tomorrow morning.

Hi everyone
Love the Boots sale after stumbling upon it accidentally a few years ago - when it used to be not such a fight!
This year I wasn't sure it would happen due to stock rumours so bought a few bits at 50% off - do you think I can return and rebuy them tomorrow to get the 70% discount?
Or if they've got the same bits - rebuy them again and return previous items in a few days?
I've got the receipt and all items are obviously new and untouched?
Opinions/ advice would be great
Thanks0
