Boots Sale

The Boots 70% sale and a wheelchair just don't mix. I got hit by baskets last year, jammed into an isle where a woman attempting to squeeze into the isle wouldn't let me out. After a couple of minutes of saying that if she moved to let me out she could then finally come into my space, she finally let me out.
The staff still mention it now, as they saw it happening but couldn't get to me and it was just bonkers.
So I wont be going but I'm another one who is looking forward to hearing everyone's talesDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yeah, people don't like having to move out of the way for a wheelchair. They don't seem to realise that it's a lot easier for the able-bodied person to move aside, than a wheelchair user.0

Well I've decided to brave Meadowhall in the morning. From stories I've heard before I think I'd better prepare for battle :rotfl: Surely they can't have less stock than my local medium store had on Tuesday.0

Make sure you've got your armour on! :rotfl:0

I used to be a hard core Boots saler but since I'm still getting through stock from years ago, I too will just enjoy the tales.
Seems to be a lot of Soap and Glory left. I've found it doesn't last at all well so would only buy now for immediate use, especially the hand creams which I ended up binning as they were all watery. Not very mse!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
You'll come back with some cracking stories Moneysaver
Things are getting more hardcore at our local these days, I remember (nostalgia!) when we could roll up at 10.30 and still have our pick. Now it's like a plague of locusts has blown through it by 9  People are getting less and less polite about it too, it's still fairly good humoured at ours but the tone has definitely changed in the last couple of years (and that wheelchair story is shocking! I'm all for getting a good deal but I'll never lose my manners for it).
Happy shopping everybody. And don't forget to load your advantage cards up with the latest deals (more came on yesterday).0 -
I only went for the Sanctuary star last year and a couple of other bits. I couldn't reach the Star and a very nice lady who wasn't dashing in like a locust very kindly passed it to me. The other bits-that was when I got stuck in the aisle with the wheelchair. With one item I literally had to duck low under baskets, and luckily it was on the end of the shelves, how I got back up again I don't know but once freed I got out fast!!
Shockingly in the next town we have a very big Boots. Last year on Boxing Day with the 50% sale the staff told me there was a huge queue and as they were unlocking, the shoppers broke the automatic doors forcing them apart as the doors were not opening quick enough. It's frightening!!.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
