Two almost identical houses I plan to offer on - thoughts?

I can't post links as I'm a new user. So please add these after rightmove.co.uk/ :
/property-for-sale/property-70730843.html
/property-for-sale/property-69364781.html
My initial ponderings are:
• On the Northwood, there is an open day. I take this to mean they are expecting there to be a lot of interest in the property. Why then, has the Manning been on the market for 2 months, need to get reduced, and why might it be valued less?
• These link-detached are a rarity for the area, in fact they are the first I've come across in my search. What do you think of them?
• The Northwood has some damage to the drive (can just about be seen in the first picture) just in front of the garage door where some of the tiles have been unearthed. Might this be expensive to put right?
Any other thoughts about the houses or the area? Thanks

SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -
The Northwood is bigger. It has a dining room behind the garage.0

No. 18 (Manning) is a former rental, don't know if that would make a difference to you, and has a bigger garden which at first glance would appear to be less overlooked. It has had its drive recently tarmacked so there may be a general issue with the drives in that road.
No. 26 (Northwood) has the dining room but has a smaller reception room.
Both were up for sale in 2008/9 and didn't appear on the Land Registry so either didn't sell or were sold to business concerns.
Can't comment on the area or anything else, but don't believe the EA's hype. Open days are them trying to drum up interest, not because there are a lot of people currently wanting to view it.

Can you actually get even a single bed into a "bedroom" that measures just 7' 5" by 5' 7" and still open the door ?0

The Manning one backs onto the council estate that is close by. The Northwood is very overlooked. I personally wouldn't buy any houses in that road because I don't like the area from what I can see on Rightmove.
All the road starting Lincombe something.0
