Parking Eye ticket advice needed

Sam, did you read Quentin's post?
Particularly this bit:Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving.
You need to edit your OP to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor here and can use your posts against you
However, your opening post is already wilfully discarding possibly one of your most significant PoPLA appeal points.
Edit your opening post as Quentin suggests if you want the easier route.0 -
Well I just appealed using the text from the Newbies thread, which doesn't admit who was driving. Do I need to edit my OP because they monitor the forums? How on earth will they know who I am though or which case it relates to?!0
-
I've edited it anyway just in case, but its been quoted in the next post!0

No one was suggesting you delete the entire opening post - the context to your case has now disappeared with it!You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
‘Edit’ does not mean ‘Delete’!
:doh:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Oh dear, I'm not very good at this am I! The context was basically the driver overstaying in a free supermarket car park. I've submitted the appeal as per the newbies forum so I guess for now we just sit and wait for that to be rejected and get the POPLA code. Nothing more I can do for the time being...0

I have not heard back from PE yet, it has been 28 days (if the day I submitted it is included) but I guess it may arrive in the post in the next couple of days. If however I don't hear from them, at what point are they out of time to respond and the ticket therefore can be forgotten? Or is there no time frame for this?0

They have 6 years to start legal action against you0

I am unable to read the OP which you have deleted, but imo PE signs are not up to snuff, they contain a huge amount of wording in very small print, sometimes eight feet above ground, you are parking your car, not building a power station. Who in their right mind reads all this guff? Certainly not me, and I am a very aware consumer.
By the way, your are asking questions, the answers to which you can find yourself using a search engine, google is a very good one for parking matters. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
