    Oops,been too busy to post here.6 more coins,£200,my target!:j:j:j
Today we opened our sealed pots and totted up our savings on the Sealed Pot challenge. I saved an amazing £1992 over the year, and my good old £200 worth of £2 coins contributed to that total.:) The way I started off so well, with £44 in £2 coins the first month,I expected to make at least £400,but it just never happened..:)Most of the time the £2 coins are as rare as hen's teeth!:rotfl::rotfl:
ll but 5 of the coins are in my House and Home fund in my credit union, put aside for whichever kitchen white goods break down:D

Well done on your totals dustydigger.

Gem-Gem,when does this challenge end?My Sealed Pot challenge is finished,we are starting again over there, but this £2 saving is overlapping and I dont know where to allocate any £2 coins. My poor old brain gets confused so easily these days.
So would you mind if I just declare my savings now,a nice round £200.which was my goal?
Then I'll start again in January.
I am moving all the Xmas money saved in various places, bank, pots etc into my current account ready for Xmas shopping. No more saving till next year, apart from shrapnel, just SPEND SPEND SPEND:j:j
Which feels strange and weird after a year of frugal living trying to spend as little as possible.:D
I am going to try to curb spending for Xmas though, and maybe will have some money left to salt away for that USA trip in May?
So my £2 coin saver challenge grand total is £200

    Hi Dustydigger,
Most people go onto 31/12 with this challenge. However, I have been known to count my coins in November so that I can do my Christmas shopping and just start again. It is your challenge so you set your own rules to when you want to start/ finish. I will start up the new forum towards the end of December.
Once again, well done on your total.

I potted some £2 on Friday but I forgot to count them, was from subs from a few of my guides (which was nice, as they didn't know, and was from their tip jar as parent works as a chef) so I was happy that I got some to add to the pot, I just have to remember to cash it up so I can bank it into the guides bank account.
