Now I am actively naming and saving any £2 coins........I haven’t had one. .

I am on a spending budget at the moment though so not spending much cash to get any. I may have to swap coins with people to get one this month. Still, the year is young.

Which ones are the interesting ones ?

For some reason separately in a jewellery drawer I have and having a look at them. No clue why I kept most of them.

A Dickens one, no date

Taj Mahal ones with no date

Darwin with no date

Abolition of slave trade

And ones with a necklace on HRH that when they first came out everyone said to keep....probably utter rubbish

Got 1 coin in my change from buying milk,makes 13 coins,£26 saved
I am now on my way to the family history group to see if I can nab any!:rotfl:

Managed to swap 2 x£2 and 1x£1 for a fiver at the group. 15 coins,£30 saved.May not get many for a while,because I have a granddaughter's birthday Feb 27th,a daughter's on 4th March,a son's on 6th March,and my first great grandson is due to be born March 11. Not a lot of time to accumulate cash,so soon after Xmas ! :eek::eek:
Oh,and then its Easter end of March,six easter eggs to buy..Not the easiest part of the year for saving
