  • I'm cleaning too - haven't found any shrapnel though for my savings pots which is a shame, but getting plenty of exercise whilst spring cleaning!

Hi, I'd like to join the 2018 £2 coin savers club too please.

I've been saving them year on year for as long as I can remember. Best I think I've had was £298 a few years ago.

Currently at £10 so far this year

    Cheers!

My small pot holds £500 in £1 coins and the big one says £3000. so hopefully would be a good holiday when I make it.

    Thanks :)

I've had a look through the pot and one of them is a BRUNEL 2006 Paddington Station coin.

My pot is a terramundi that I received as a gift from my son a long time ago with "Dad's sports car fund" on it. It doesn't have a plug so I've had to extract the coins from the slot with a knife every year and the slot is now a little worse for wear! We normally use the money for socialising over the Xmas period or extra holiday spending money but I think this time I'm going to keep going until it's full then break it open.

There's only £8 in it so I suspect my wife has had one for something or other :(

My last pot was also a little worn where I had emptied it with the ruler. But then last summer I accidentally dropped it. So I now have a new shiny one and that is why I want to fill it up before opening it up/ attacking it.

    Afternoon!

Become a tad obsessed with collecting £2 coins so in this first week:

    #22 - £50 paid in = £50 so far!

I'm not doing a target so I'll just keep plodding on as I am and will see what I can pay off at the end of the year with what I save.

    Happy saving!
