£5/month Virgin Mobile: 2GB, minutes, texts

An unexpected thing happened while on the phone with Virgin Media earlier... I was ringing to leave because I'm moving house to a place without Virgin, and after confirming that my only choice was to leave the guy started asking me about my mobile plan. I caught on instantly, so I told him that I pay £5/month for 2GB of data (Three's old 3Pay). I was expecting him to just back off, as is usually the case, but instead he said I could get: for £5/month on a 12-month contract, 2GB of data (so far what I'm getting on 3Pay), and some extra minutes and texts (not sure which one was unlimited). He said the plan he was offering costs £12/month normally, but I can't find it on their website.

If you're looking for such a deal and you're a Virgin customer you might want to ring them up and ask if you can get it. You shouldn't even need to threaten them with leaving or anything - I mean, I was past the point where they understood I was going away when I got offered it. Post here if you succeed or fail.
