To those who say what difference does it make - well it will mean that I get to see to my family for Christmas!
If you bank with Natwest, RBS or Barclays, any monies due to be paid on 28th December will show on 23rd.
Does the Co-Op normally show Monday's credits on a Saturday?0 -
Surely you should of budgeted your money a bit better if seeing your family at Christmas is dependant on you receiving your benefits one day earlier!biggysmaller wrote: »I bank with the co-op bank - will that make a difference?

Not for an account with the CO-OP I use to manage, state pension and PIP always paid Monday but never went in early.0 -
Found my ESA in my bank today, due 27th, didn't expect early payment. Yet still not had £10 Christmas bonus.0

Honestly Dullville, this comment says more about you, than the person you are attempting to score points from. You obviously have a massive chip on your shoulder.
I am not on benefits myself these days, but anyone who thinks there is money left over to save, after paying essentials like food, clothes and bills - money left over for treats like travelling to see family - clearly doesn't live in the real world.
Oh, and it is *Should have* - don't spell basic things wrong whilst attempting to belittle someone else..

How is that belittling someone? All I was pointing out was, how are the posters Xmas plans to see his family being scuppered due to his benefits not arriving in his bank 1 day earlier, surely it’s not a surprise what date Xmas day arrives on!
Av a word indeed!0 -

Clearly went completely over your head.

I am due my ESA on Dec 28th so take it that it will still be the 28th?
dont understand why things like Tax credits due for the 28th will go in a day early on the 27th but not so for ESA.0 -
Depending on who you bank with you may have already had payment today or tomorrow. See post #12.rich_shot2003 wrote: »I am due my ESA on Dec 28th so take it that it will still be the 28th?
