Thanks for the replies on this so far.
Turns out the oven is actually branded. Probably a cheap model and no idea how old but at least there's some info on it...0 -
Ah you got a little further than me. I searched for Logik and found that they didn't have their own website (or seemingly not). Top result was Curry's so i assumed Logik is a Curry's brand.
I didn't get year or price but i never expected it to be a costly unit based on other things the previous owners had in the house.
The house was up for sale in 2013, we bought November 2013. Boiler was installed Aug 2012.
So looks like they shelled out on a few things getting ready for the sale.
When buying a new one is it advisable to buy the hob also? Do they come with the hob automatically? (Can you tell i've not done this before? :rotfl:) Or since our hob appears to be working fine then just leave that for now?
Anything to look for specifically when buying a new one (other than getting a proper branded one)?0 -

And if it's a 2013 model then it lasted only 4 years We bought the house late 2013 but only moved in in March 2015 so it wasn't even a full 4 years. I don't know if this is normal or not for the lifespan of these things but to me it doesn't sound a lot. My mother has an oven, not one of these built in things but she's had that probably 10 years or more & it hasn't broken. It wasn't even an expensive one either.0
