I only ever knew one person who did a medical trial it was for an anti epilepsy drug. He ended up on dialysis.0

i wouldnt do it but im very greatfull to the people who do they need to test the drugs somewhere and i think its great they pay people who are willing to be tested on and save the genral public from being tested on, its fair to say most of us wouldnt risk our health for some money but i dont think its fair to slam down on the ones who do get tested on as if it wasnt for them who knows where we would be !!:):T I love MSE ! :j0

There's also one based in Dundee http://www.getpaidtoparticipate.com/index.html
but I would be very wary myself as they are doing Phase 1 Clinical Trials which basically means you are the first human that these drugs have touched. (I know someone has to be the first, but I don't want it to be me)
It also scarily mentions on the company's own website that they are ideally located next to Ninewells Hospital joined via a corridor and conveniently 5 minutes away from A& E

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.0

I havent done any medical trials, but have done loads of Psychology and Psychiatry trials it doesnt pay as well, but as your testing psych interventions and not drugs its safer IMO , and a few bizarre ones as well, icluding one where I had to collect a bin bag full of crisps, choccy bars and cakes, and was weighed every week.0
