I can see plenty of activity around this topic. I am very pleased to announce that our new business will be launching at the end of August in the UK.

You need to read the forum rules, mate - especially this bit:We do not allow advertising of any type on the forum. This is against the forum rules (see Why was my post about my company/site/blog deleted?).
Prepare for your post (and any other ones you do that are advertising) to be deleted.0 -

IMHO this poster has not advertised. All I have learned is that a new firm will be launching in the sector - nothing more. It's a useful heads up without giving us specific details.0 -
I own a van and I'm interested in renting out ad space.
I see there are many companies mentioned on here, but has anyone had success with any of them?
Thanks in advanceAll you need is love (and chocolate)0 -

Hi smartdriver, read all the above posts...and yes, you still seem to be the smartest on here !
Some haven't even been bothered to read the other comments before posting replies or questions!
Anyway, is there any way I can PM you easily for an idea of the contract please?
Many thanks, :j
 Her's to future success !0 -
I have signed up with a couple of companies for this but haven't heard back at all. I can't really say I've seen any cars with this kind of advertising on - has anyone managed to get their cars stickered and received payment?

EZ
If you read though the posts, they are all non existant or spam or not even in the uk
only a taxi will get advertising via an agency so unless you pimp your own car to local businesses you wont ever get anything, so dont waste your time, and prepare for spam email now too0 -
There isn't an 'easy' way to earn money through doing advertising on cars. It's all about commitment and leg work
I spent hours doing (and delivering) flyers and making phone calls to local companies. It paid for the running of my Smart car for the first couple of years but I had all the decals taken off when I wanted to trade it in, then changed my mind and kept the car. Luckily, I'm not strapped for cash right now so haven't bothered doing it all again. Don't forget to tell your insurance company if you go ahead as it may make a difference to your premiums .......... oh and the taxman too !
For those of you who have pm'd me requesting a copy of the 'contract' ........... I will email you in the next few days.
Thank you for all your interest in my toe-dipping into the world of the entrepreneur

I spent a LOAD of time researching companies that can put the adds on my car, prices in comparison to putting adds on billboards/busses etc, and putting together a very attractive deal for potential advertisers... sent out letters to a load of local businesses..
not one reply
As someone else said, unless your a taxi driver or particularly lucky, I don't think you will have much luck getting someone to pay to advertise on your car!
Maybe get a massive sticker put on saying "Your Ad Here for £20 Per Month" or something and then just see if anyone sees and contacts you?
