Tesco half Leg and Lamb offer

Tesco is advertising a special offer of half leg of Lamb at £5 . However I have been in to two large Tesco store near us and they say it is currently unavailable. Also they don't know if they will be getting any more in at that price. We wanted it for Christmas. is anyone else having the same issue. Why do Tesco keep advertising the half leg of Lamb offer is it is unavailable.is a ploy just to get you into one of their stores in the hope you will buy an alternaive at the full price!!!

Yeah, it's a big conspiracy just to get you into their store, or, maybe the offer was so popular that they've ran out of stock at your particular store.

So that's why Tesco are still advertising the offer - it is available, just not in the 2 stores you've been in.

We like turkey for Christmas, and they have a lot in Tesco's, although we like lamb at Easter, will try then

That looks to be a whole leg not a half though - it sounds like the OP only wants a half leg

The sort of person who doesn't want to eat turkey. Or pork. Or beef.
I'd happily eat lamb for Christmas dinner.

I had similar problem with Tesco ordering a turkey crown online - why do they offer items that are not available. It was only at the 3rd attempt that the turkey arrived. !!!
