are all these sites for vouchers or can you get paid cash too? and which ones are the best in terms of getting the most money?

Globaltest market is an american owned company who give you market points and when you have collected 1000 send you a cheque, usually for about £24 but with current exchange rates could be more as each market point worth 5 cents is then converted to UK pounds for British survey takers.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:
  • Is it me being overly suspicious but has anyone else completed a survey on line to within the last question suddenly to be told that "you did not fit the criteria". Am I to assume that the company is getting the information for free!?

I have yet to find an online survey company who actually pay out without there being some hitch in the fine print. Some people are saying they are making hundreds of pounds a week from on line surveys - are they being paid by these companies. I have completed hundreds on one particularly site and now have the grand sn of £5.75 to my name. I am beginning to wonder if it would even cover the cost of the electricity used!

    Any helpful suggestions anyone?

Hi shazzaof22, get the feeling you are implying I am specifically marketing for the aforementioned company, suggest you take a look at my other posts on this thread and others, I am merely a poster of information about various subjects, I also ask my fair share of questions, and help people where I can. Niko specifically asked if their are any cash sites and the only reason I only mentioned the one company is because I have not got experience of other paid survey sites, but have earned a moderate amount over the last twelve months in vouchers frome many other survey sites. Here is my list of other sites Lightspeed, Toluna, Pinecone, Ipsos, onepoll (not at payout level yet) and media transfer. I also often get screened out but tend to plug away doing most surveys that arrive in my inbox, and have earned a moderate amount in vouchers and cash but not a fortune. Good luck with your future surveying.

Does anyone know how often pinecone have banners up? I can see the last one was in September, any idea when you'd expect another?

If you get a long way into a survey and it is suddenly terminated this is usually because they have just reached their quota of completed surveys so anyone in the middle of a survey is immediately surplus to requirements. This generally means they won't be using your information.

There are many, many reputable online survey companies paying out thousands every month but you do need to meet quite specific requirements to make more than the odd tenner a month. Until my last birthday took me into the next age band I was regularly earning £50-£100 a month, but now I rarely earn more than £20-£30 a month. Just work through this thread to find out which companies are working best for other people, and maybe try one of the free directories. Personally I find Global Test Market, Valued Opinions, ItsYourView and Pinecone work best and pay a decent amount for every survey.

actually it should be "just because you're paranoid....."
    what goes around, comes around...........
  • Hi - quite the opposite - I applaud anyone who can make extra cash by filling in the questionnaires online - your persistence is paying off. I shall follow your lead and hopefully will manage to fit the criteria required and start earning!

... I stand corrected ... thank you for making me smile after a very long journey home in the snow.
