Do you not mean tenterhooks? A tenter is a frame used for stretching woollen cloth after it was washed and the hooks held the cloth in place whilst it dried. Somebody on tenterhooks is in an state of anxious suspense, stretched like the cloth on the tenter. I only know this because I live in a town where they used to weave cloth!!!

I clicked on the link and signed up all seemed fine until today when i got an E-Mail confirming my acceptance and asking me to answer some more questions,Which i did.
So really i have given them all the infomation they need (For Free) and now i will get pestered with sales calls.
Am i thinking along the right lines,I Hope i havent been had over buy you lot,as running a business i already get about 20 sales calls per week and cannot handle anymore but thought if i get paid i dont mind as much.

I signed up yesterday and got an email today from amberarch saying my registration was successful. Are amberarch actually pinecone, or is this some other company Isigned up to without realising!!!
