I am parting with a considerable amount of money, for a property, excuse me if I want to know who I am dealing with.
They could be a property dealer, someone who moves in, refurbs and does bodge jobs for a quick turnaround.........who knows!
Rather know early on than wait till I've spent on searches etc.
Each to their own, if you prefer the gamble of life.0 -
The MoS won't tell you that, though... It'll just give you a name. If you want to know if it's been bodged, your eyes will tell you that. Or your survey, if you don't trust your own ability to tell. They could be a property dealer, someone who moves in, refurbs and does bodge jobs for a quick turnaround.........who knows!0 -
In the scale of things, £10 for the will and executer names, and come to that another £6 for the Title and Plan from the LR, is peanuts, and worth forking out early on. It just might throw up info that rings warning bells (or relieve anxiety).0

You already knew it was a probate property, up to you what you do, just seems a pointless exercise but if it makes you feel better so be it0 -
The more I know about my vendor, what they are like, and likely to do to their soon-to-be-my house the better.
Now, EBay feedback, there's a goldmine of information.
I'm with Margot, all the way!0
