Calor pilot won't stay lit

Two month old Calor butane cabinet heater, everything looks clean and nothing is loose.
At first it lit no problem, then it started taking multiple strikes from the ignition to get going, and now it just won't start at all without me gently blowing on the flame and/or rocking the cabinet gently back and forth. Even once it does eventually get going, it'll only stay lit for a few seconds, or if I'm lucky a few minutes, before blowing out again.
The weird thing is that every now and then it'll light first time and stay on for hours without a problem.
I've cleaned the metal bit ("thermocoupler"?), and blown out any dust that may be in there, but like I said this stuff is all brand new and already looks immaculate, so I'm at a total loss as to what is causing the problem or how to fix it.
Here is a very short video demonstrating the problem: youtube dot com/watch?v=5W-t_b9fcqA (sorry, can't post links).
Thanks for your help.

If it's only 2 months old as you say, and it's now faulty, I'd would have taken it back and got a replacement (or a full refund)0

Thanks, but that might be a problem, as it was bought on Amazon marketplace, so "taking it back" will involve some fairly hefty postage that I simply can't afford right now.
I also don't have a car or even a license, nor could I afford to take days off work to drive hundreds of miles and pay for overnight accommodation anyway, even if I did.
And even if I did somehow manage to get the money from somewhere, and/or time off work, and/or some kind of transportation, I'd still be left without heating during the time it was being repaired or replaced. Either that or I'd need to fork out even more money I don't have for a temporary substitute heater.
At least at the moment it works sometimes, and/or with half an hour of persistence, long enough to give me some heat in these sub-zero temperatures.
What I'm hoping for is that the solution is something obvious that I can simply DIY at minimum expense, at least until I get the money to be able to deal with it properly.0 -
If it was from a recognised source, I'm sure they would arrange replacement.
("The returns policy offered by Marketplace Sellers must be equivalent to or better than the returns policy offered by Amazon.co.uk" )
If it is from an unrecognised source, then it was caveat emptor - it may not have been new at sale (irrespective of what was claimed), nor may it be a genuine Calor product.
There's also an Amazon a-z claim procedure that should be available to you
Or get a suitably qualified man in to repair it, or just dump the thing. You don't want to be messing about where gas is concerned.
Good luck!0
