Is there a 360 degrees recording camera that will record well during night and include sound for my car? I need it also to record while car is switched off and preferably be concealed? Is there a solution?

Solution? Best idea is to put the car in a garage!

That's not the only reason people have dash cams!
  • There is nothing out there in the market which provides 360 degree coverage.

Wrong there are several 360 degree cams at fairly budget levels these days.

    Giroptic is one.

Will they suit the Ops intended purpose? Probably not.

    What exactly purpose won't suit?

Where would you like me to start?

Positioning, power consumption, concealment, coverage maybe 360 but with some caveats.

The google car gets 360 degree viewing, but its not exactly discreet. Try concealing that.

Where will the car be parked and will the camera be facing anyones house? When I wanted to fit a camera recording someone who was habitually vandalising my car, Cheshire police told me that setting one up to record 24/7 was 'voyeurism'. Still, they made up for it by being really useful in stopping the vandal...... No, that's a lie. They did nothing and the vandal continues to vandalise cars to this day, luckily not mine.

    Top coppering as per.

Did the policeman have grounds to believe that you or someone else would use the footage "for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification"?

If not, he was talking tosh.
