Off with stress - acceptable activities

People being off sick (for whatever reason) inconveniences a workplace and sometimes that comes across in the way you are spoken to. Management and other colleagues who have to pick up the slack may find it annoying that they have to cover for someone who is off.
Don't take it personally and do whatever you want (within reason) to relieve your stress. Of course, if it's work that is causing you to be off with stress then something long-term will need to be sorted out if you're going to carry on working there. What will your verse be?

Matttye, I agree it’s not ideal for all involved. I’m going to be in talks soon about my phases return and my workload upon my return so hoping for a compromise that suits us all. At the moment just taking it day by day and trying to get as much fresh air as possible.0

The best thing for stress and what works best for me is to exercise. Whether that just being a walk or going to the gym. If you are worried about your employees seeing you, maybe the gym would be a better option.0
