From their photo, can't really see anything. From memory, it's a teeny tiny line at the bottom that says about it being displayed in the windshield. I've seen in other threads people claiming the signs aren't clear enough as a defense, but in reality it's not that bad and the sign was right next to my car so I don't know how far that'd get me.

Actually when you look at their photo including my car as evidence, the sign doesn't look that clear at all.

the signage and the lease agreement are crucial to any contract formed between the driver (or keeper) and the PPC

you could do with knowing what the landowner agreement is that the flat owner has with any M.A. or the PPC (or not)

clearly you have not signed any agreement stating that the permit must be displayed as your lease is silent on parking

Thanks for all the advice. I'll go into the MA tomorrow as they are only next door and complain, and bring up the lease. Hopefully that'll get the ball rolling.

Whatb has Beavis got to do with "own space" parking. I would complain to your local Trading Standards Department, in writing: and to your MP, it is misleading and , attempting to obtain monies by misrepresentation.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

@The Deep - That's exactly what I thought. How can a common law precedent about parking in retail and commercial spaces have anything to do with parking at my own flat! I have been considering writing to IG Security to this effect as well.

you would be wasting your time writing to the PPC with anything other than the correct template

these ex-clampers just want to trap people into paying them money, nothing to do with parking, residents are a captive audience and are victims ripe for picking and plucking

you need to get with this modern day sc@m and understand it

there is no profit in not handing out tickets and plenty of money to be made from simple errors

If you read up on this in the newbies faq thread you will realise that any appeal is futile!

Don't waste time over what to say - use the template in the FAQ

    Concentrate on the MA!
