Well... maybe. If you have to claim, you'll wish you'd picked the best. If you never claim, you'll wish you'd picked the cheapest. WELL SAID I claimed for damage because of a leak coming through my roof just after a storm - never had claimed before. Halifax refused my claim blaming the damage on my neighbour's chimney which their surveyor said had wear and tear which was ongoing - funny how I had never noticed water coming into my attic before. I certainly would not recommend Halifax insurance as I am now left without any protection should more damage result.0

More Than were pretty good with our one and only home insurance claim. Quick, efficient and easy to deal with.
The only other claims I have made have been on Pet insurance with John Lewis who were fantastic, although that'll be another insurer hiding behind the John Lewis name probably.0 -
Hi,
I find most bank policies are better (as are Hiscox and premium insurers) another is Direct line and John Lewis.
I would avoid Admiral, Morethan and ANY insurer that does not include leak detection (my day job) in their standard policy. It is a REAL life saver if you have a leak as it covers the finding and damage getting to the leak.Andrew Davies0
