    BUY at the bottom. SELL at the top. This is the mantra for all investment. Study the graphs, Bitcoin is at the top, you should be selling..

    Its only possible to say that in retrospect.
    If you looked at the graph in Dec 2013 you could have said it was "at the top" when it hit 1000 dollars - and then fell sharply....

    But, coming back to the original Q, why pay someone to buy Bitcoin for you when you can just do it yourself?

    And what ""criminal element in buying actual bit coins""...???

    From a glance it is priced in Euros so you have additional currency risk (US$ - EUR - Sterling), registered on the Nasdaq Nordic (Stockholm) and the annual charge is 2.5%.

    Just read this and the bit about currency risk made me chuckle when Bitcoin is supposed to be a currency!
    Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

    Yes, perhaps I should have said:
    Bitcoin -> US$ -> EUR -> Sterling !

    Nope but it seems most of the forum is getting involved and many of them still have velcro on their shoes.
    Well that's a bit insulting - I'm just going back to Velcro ......... :o

    The lessons of history are a catalog of failed investment schemes. The South Seas Bubble. The Tulip Scheme. The Albanian Investment scheme. The only way to make money out of these schemes is to start you own. Past investment models tell us that in the final analysis Crypto currencies like Bitcoin will fail.

    How do I invest in your Albanian investment scheme?

    Bitcoin was $5595 on 17 October 2017, now $11009.

    "Bitcoin literally increased by 97% over the last quarter....seems like a bad time to buy????"
