You should remove your name from the post above.#9

Apart from breaking forum rules (everyone should be anonymous) the parking companies monitor here and can use your posts against you
  • If you parked illegally you are liable so you are unlikely to get a set aside. So you’ll have to pay it.

If your details are wrong with the DVLA you are liable for a fine of up to £1000. So update your details now and ensure both the driving licence and V5c are registered to your current address.

well i supposed to move at that address but some how didnt, my friend there told me about letters, my name is a*********, there are many of my name, was being lazy and didnt update the address...
it means any one can ruin your credit file by filing a wrong claim at wrong address and the defendant would not attend the court and will get ccj..

No it doesn’t mean that anyone can ruin a person’s credit file for the reasons you give. A claimant has to take reasonable steps to deliver to the correct address. In the case of a parking company that can be to get address details from the DVLA.

    .
There is nothing in this thread to suggest the OP has parked "illegally"

(Apart from his misuse of the word "fine")

He hasn't been fined but incurred a private parking invoice which has not been paid - possibly issued incorrectly like the many we see daily in the parking sub forum

They have issued it to the V5 address, which is the correct thing, so not wrong address. Has he told his insurance that the car is not kept at the registered address!

You aren't normally required by insurers to keep the car at the "registered address" (assuming you mean the registered keeper address) - otherwise all lease/company cars etc would have to return to the RK's offices every night!

And what has insurance to do with the OP's problem anyway, and why are you asking?

Post #3# from National debtline gives you your options OP.

Thread is going a little off topic now.
