I'm finding European buyers to be a bit edgy at the moment, I have had a few seem to overlook the 'I am overseas' situation and expect their items in a few days.
It does seem bonkers, I don't think 14 working days is excessive for an international parcel at this time of year - especially when tracking shows the item is with their postal service. Poste Italiane tracking is very good and works pretty much the same as our tracked service here.
The item will arrive, but in the meantime 1.5k is on hold on my Paypal account due to the 'not received case' (I'd normally use my DHL account but it's a remote area, hence chancing my arm with RM tracked and signed)
bah humbug!0 -

My item was sent on the 11th December to The Netherlands and within 2 days the buyer was harassing me. I got my neutral yesterday, the 21st, so 10 days after posting- and I had my 3 day dispatch on and item was sent next day (2 days early) and ebay showed it due to arrive within 4 -7 working days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I had what I thought was something similar. Buyer in Finland asked for expedited post, no cost too large, until I quoted him the cost! I said he had plenty of time but if he wanted to cancel that was fine. Anyway it arrived sooner than I had estimated and he sent a very nice message thanking me.My item was sent on the 11th December to The Netherlands and within 2 days the buyer was harassing me. It is swings and roundabouts though, I've spent most of the night pulling my hair out over an item that Amazon are investigating for too many returns. The reason for so many returns is that Amazon have been sending the wrong item, through no fault of mine. It's a big seller in January and I've got 1000 more in transit and not much I can do but fire off emails hoping they land with the right person..0 -

Item was delivered on 22nd, so I replied to the case in my best Italian with 'Consegnata' and they closed the not received about 3 hours later.
Still really do not understand why buyers are unwilling to track items with the tracking info given and ask sellers via a Case - if I can use Poste Italiane as a non-italian speaker / reader and track it sucessfully, you'd sort of expect an actual Italian to be able to do the legwork too...! The hold up was entirely with their local postal service over which I have absolutely no influence!0 -
I only post abroad via bays own repost system nowadays after having had a right nightmare with pushy buyers demanding to know the postal rates from here, there & everywhere before.
They still do it -But I tell them the postal price quoted is for UK and to ask eBay how much it is to forward onto them.
I concur with the experiences of sizing etc, so I take several pictures including the tape measure, rooms to cure most silliness anyway.0
