You are making the mistake that these PPCs are reasonable.

Why would they want to go 'looking for similarities'?
They make no money from that.

In any case, even if they were to look, and they found 'similarities' do you really think they would accept that the PCN should not have been issued?

You are putting too much effort into this initial appeal.

But it's the truth though.. it's not like I'm lying to get out of it. She paid the full overnight charge, entered her reg and came back 3 hrs later. Is it wrong to state these facts

This is Highview, who automatically cancel when they see the template wording from the NEWBIES thread, we have a 2 hour challenge competition here to get the quickest cancellation after a 9am submission to Highview, as they are famous for it.

The further you take the first appeal away from what WE KNOW wins, and Highview staff recognise as our appeal template, the more like they won't do the usual knee-jerk cancellation. They will see you as unsure, and will push it to POPLA.

Have you read those other Highview threads yet, and seen what I am telling you is true?

Template appeal, nothing added, submit at 9am...set the clock. Tell us when it's cancelled!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Of course they could, but as I said, there's no money in that.

This isn't a traditional business that likes to keep customers happy, you know. :D

Don't reinvent the wheel, that what we are saying - try it, honestly.

Template appeal at 9am. See you this time tomorrow, telling us it's cancelled.

Is it this one or the one from the beamerguy post

    Dear Sirs

    Re: PCN No. ....................

I challenge this 'PCN' as keeper of the car.

I believe that your signs fail the test of 'large lettering' and prominence, as established in!ParkingEye Ltd v Beavis.!Your unremarkable and obscure signs were not seen by the driver, are in very small print and the terms are not readable to drivers.

There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. You must either rely on the POFA 2012 and offer me a POPLA code, or cancel the charge.!

Should you obtain the registered keeper's data from the DVLA without reasonable cause, please take this as formal notice that I reserve the right to sue your company and the landowner/principal, for a sum not less than £250 for any Data Protection Act breach. Your aggressive business practice and unwarranted threat of court for the ordinary matter of a driver using my car without causing any obstruction nor offence, has caused significant distress to me.!

I do not give you consent to process data relating to me or this vehicle. I deny liability for any sum at all and you must consider this letter a Section 10 Notice under the DPA. You are required to respond within 21 days. I have kept proof of submission of this appeal and look forward to your reply.

    Yours faithfully,

THE NAME!AND ADDRESS!OF THE KEEPER GOES HERE. THE DRIVER IS NOT IDENTIFIED.
