  • Hi Guys

Much appreciate for all the help , had my hearing today and the judgement was set aside.
Now waiting for parking eye to send out new claim forms so I can send off a defence and hopefully have this all come to an end.

Good stuff, well done so far!

I doubt there will be a new claim form, I expect your Judge will Order that PE write to you with their case, and you will then be able to respond. Stick around here!

  • Hi everyone, I am new to all of this and wanted some advice. I parked in a private car par that I had to display a parking ticket to which my partner and I did, we got back to the car around 4 mins late as his daughter had been sick and we had to tend to her. I got a parking fine in April this year and I appealed against it, to which they rejected it. Yester day i got a letter stating that it was a Letter Before County Court Claim and saying that they rejected my appeal and that I had 28 days to appeal again to POPLA, which I did not receive. It's been 8 months since the appeal rejection. What should I do Should I pay the fine or just ignore these letters as I have read so many people are doing?
Would greatly appreciate any advice given.:)
  • Thanks Coupon I’ll be sure to stick around .

Hello again guys , I’ve now received my response pack I’m going to amend my defence and send it off , if it is even worth defending because I really don’t fancy paying them.
  • Hey there,

Did you have any joy with your defence afterward?

Wondering as i am about to start a similar journey.

The OP hasn't even signed into the forum since January.

Start your own thread if you need advice, after reading the NEWBIES thread about set asides.

Hello again everyone, would just like to say my court date was yesterday and I won, parking eye didn’t attend but they did send a legal representative. After putting both out cases forward the judge came to a decision in five minutes in my favour.

Thank you all very much for the advice and one or two of you for the kick up the bum I desperately needed so again thanks very much.

    Well done on your win.

Once you have time, it would be very useful if you could expand on the reasons the judge gave for his decision as we don't see many MSA court cases on here.
