    Hi,
I'm in an area where I get little mobile signal and am thinking about using wifi calling instead.
I need a new mobile handset so wondering how it all works and is it best to get a sim only deal and set handset, or get a contract phone and mobile package.
I'd really value any experience from the Forum and useful tips to look out for please?
    Thanks
Hi Beanster, You can find more information about how EE Wi-Fi calling works here and the devices that are compatible when bought from a 3rd party on this link: http://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/getting-started-and-upgrading/using-your-phone-features/how-do-i-use-wifi-calling Thanks Sam

  • Does Vodafone support Wi-fi calling switchover from network to Wi-fi and vice versa ?

Also do text messages get delivered over wi.fi ?

This is with a iPhone 6s...supplied by Vodafone

For some strange reason Vodafone only implemented wificalling for calls, text messages will have to wait till you get a normal network signal. O2 have used this bizarre implementation as well.

EE and Three have implemented it correctly for both calls and SMS.

Be aware that O2 & EE show WiFi calling at all times when switched on and connected to a WiFi network, three on the other hand will only show this icon when your signal drops below a certain level and it switches you over to WiFi calling, this is on various iPhones
