Exchanging old/new foreign currencies

I have many foreign currencies in small sums that I wish to exchange for UK Sterling. Does anyone have any experience of any of the companies that advertise exchanging old foreign currencies for UK Sterling?

Thanks but...............I need to turn these old coins into UK sterling so that I can donate them to a particular charity of my choice. Do you know of or have you had experience of any of the companies that claim to exchange old coins?0
