I’ve tried to contact Parking Eye, but all I can find is an automated payment line or an address to write to. Does anyone know how best to go about letting Parking Eye know about the correct address?
Thanks again.

Make it short, give them the right address and state that this place is notorious following the Beavis case, and not in a good way in terms of reputation for the public who can vote with their feet and shop elsewhere or online. The Beavis case is something you have only just learnt about since suffering at ParkingEye's whim, and the extremely threatening presence of ParkingEye is making your family decide to boycott the place in future. This has been communicated in complaints to all the retail Managers of the shops used, as well as specifically to xxxxx xxxxxx in order to complain directly to the Retail Park owners.
State that if they really want a repeat of the Beavis case then sobeit, but their aggressive anti-customer service reputation will lead to their undoing in the end. It is widely believed by the public that the likes of ParkingEye have no place in retail parks whatsoever, despite the findings of the Supreme Court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hello all, Happy New Year!
Small update for you. I have emailed Parking Eye to inform them of my correct address, awaiting a response from them.
We were given two email addresses from the managers at the retail park, one generic, one for a specific person. For the specific address the person is back in the office after Christmas tomorrow so I hope for a response from them soon.
The generic email returned a generic response. A dead end as far as that one goes I think:
Thank you for your email.
If your enquiry relates to a parking fine you have received then please appeal online at https://portal.parkingeye.co.uk/
This mailbox is monitored on a weekly basis by CBRE and appeals must be made via the link and are handled by ParkingEye.0 -
Did you not use the email address given in the post immediately above yours?0

Gives you a clue that they are getting shedloads of PE complaints. Have they not twigged how to sort that out?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Keith P – yes…I have emailed Parking Eye to inform them of my correct address, awaiting a response from them.0 -
Sorry, I should have said, the two email addresses we were given by the managers at the retail park we’re for the land owners who employed Parking Eye to run the Car park.0

UPDATE!!!
Last week I emailed a personal contact for the land owners of the retail park to complain about the charge and the parking situation in general. They responded and said they would speak to Parking Eye on my behalf to see what could be done.
I also emailed Parking Eye on the info address to inform them they are contacting the wrong address for me.
Today I received an email from the P.E. info address stating the charge has been cancelled and no outstanding payment is required!!! I can only assume the contact for the landowners was successful in asking P.E. to cancel the charge!
I'm so happy and so so grateful to this forum for all your help and guidance in getting this matter resolved! Thank you everyone!0 -
We always advise an approach to the landowner because it works on many occasions. Despite the strategy’s success, many newbies are reluctant to make the approach, some are seemingly happier to pay the PCN rather than taking it up with the landowner.
Well done on shaking this nasty off the sole of your shoe. :TPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Yay, well done!
Can you tell us who you contacted, as others threatened in this notorious car park need to know.
As an aside, please contact WHICH? magazine using the easy link from this thread to tell them briefly of your plight. The more people who contact WHICH, the more likely they are to take up this unregulated scam industry as their next cause:

Hi all,
This is the contact for the car park owners CBRE that we were given by the store manager at Riverside Retail Park:
Charlie.Gardiner-Graham@cbre.com
They were very polite and helpful, unlike Equita!0
