    Please advise.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I'm was in a similar position as the topic founder.

I contacted BMPA at the time and followed their guidance and appealed to UKPC.

UKPC advised that I should either pay the £60 or give them drivers info, which I do not want to do. They also advised that if I do not pay the fine or give them the driver info then they will will have to decline my appeal and and take it further and send me POPLA code.

I received that letter from them in April.

It is now almost August and I have not recieved anything from them yet. How should I proceed? I should also mention that my car is leased (PCP) and I am not the owner of it, but the registered keeper.
    Please advise.
same as this one, your PCN sounds like a parking event when UKPC were banned from getting DVLA data and desperately asked who was driving:

UKPC seem to be just forgetting about the PCNs from when they were banned, because they can't get DVLA data retrospectively. They can't use the POFA, can't hold a keeper liable:

They were banned by the DVLA from 22nd March for two months, and you could have ignored them if the PCN was withing this date (not that we or the BMPA knew that, until mid April!).

  • Hi Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this thread.

Just a quick update. I went again to check on UKPC Appeals - ukpcappeals.co.uk to check if my PCN with photos is still there. After entering my details the site told me - This Parking Charge has been canceled
The date they issued the charge was on 28-03-2018, so it falls in the 2 month period that you mentioned.

Next time I will start my own thread.

    Great to hear that! :T

UKPC were stuck with their March ones, unless victims told them who was driving in the appeal. Lucky timing for you, and you know where to come next time!
