We've been on a walking tour (ours came free with the bus pass) and learned a lot from it. I'd definitely recommend.
Not sure if you'll be there in the evening but I enjoyed the music in the Temple Bar pubs. OK so it's touristy but it was fun.
Personally I love museums and galleries but keep them for very wet or cold days.0 -
If you only have a day, I’d say using the Hop-on-off bus is the only way.
Get a taste of the place and go back.
