As it happens it came with the house and it's now time to replace it so if anyone has any recommendations for an integrated dishwasher that is exceptional at drying (no drips on glasses rims etc.) then I'm all ears...“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I have all Siemens appliances BRILLIANT0

We have Miele for the dishwasher (14 yrs old), washing machine (3yrs as it previously replaced a broken Siemens which was 12) and an heat pump dryer. All going well.
Conversely we have their top of the range inbuilt coffee machine and it's not quite 2 and the engineer has been 3 times.
What you have to weigh up, is not just the longevity of the appliance but the availability of engineers/parts should anything go wrong. Cost of purchase should also include the cost of use. Our tumble dryer is incredibly efficient. The washing machine uses the Twin Dos system and not having to faff around with washing tabs/powder is brilliant. It knows how much to dispense and the clothes are cleaner than my old Miele. Technology is there for a reason.0 -
Typical brand reliability for dishwashers, washing machines and tumble dryers shows good correlation with price.
Top range Miele 90%, mid e.g. Bosch 85%, low e.g. Beko 80%.
Personal decision whether Miele's better reliability justifies 200-300% extra cost over Beko.0 -
I'd have a look at the Samsung Ecobubble range, they're reasonably priced and many come with 5 year guarantees as standard.0

The fridge freezer has lasted 10 years so far but the seals have not, and they cannot be replaced. The only option is £700 to replace both doors. I will not be replacing as I do feel scammed, a cheaper fridge freezer has a full life cost that is more acceptable
Are you able to replace the seals with a universal seal kit?
Examples here on eBay.

We had all of the appliances replaced four years ago with Siemens and to date been perfect with no issues0

Our Miele washing machine is over 20 years old now
I got rid of the inherited Bosch dishwasher as it cost a fortune to run and chipped mugs and glasses, replaced it with a zanussi slimline which is now 5 years old and going as well as it ever did ( it's not brilliant but it's ok for the price)
Don't have a dryer0 -
I have a LG washing mkachine4 years old now. Recently had issue with the sensor. Engineer came sorted it out it was a small sock trapped in filter door even though I checked before somehow didnt move near the trap door. He said LG are some of best machines and went on to say if it been a lesser machine the motor would have burned out. he uses them himself he has no reason to lie to me
Had a belko dishwasher last 6 years finally conked off so later went for a hotpoint Ultima so far 2 years on fine use every day0 -
Zanussi here. 10 years old at the end of next month. It was £229
I changed the door switch about seven years ago.
We always buy cheap machines. Run them until they break, and unless it's an easy or cheap repair get another. I'm lucky in that I can do most repairs myself. Although I don't see the point when parts start costing half the price of a new machine. Although not very "green" it has worked out being cheap over the 40 years we've been married. I think that's the fourth machine we have had.0
