Its not talktalks fault BT has a monopoly on FTTP
BT don't have a monopoly through their own actions, although no doubt it does benefit them. TT (and other ISPs) could offer FTTP if they wanted, but choose not to.
I believe there are a couple of ISPs apart from BT who offer FTTP, but none are what you would call big names.0 -

Yes it is, because TT have chosen not to offer FTTP as a product, and neither have Sky. So they have created a near monopoly by their lack of ambition. At the same time, they complain about the pace of FTTP roll out even though they choose not to sell it.0 -
