Broadband deals close to Christmas

Please can anyone tell me if it's better to wait until nearer Christmas to get cheaper broadband deals?

Thank you

Depends on how much of a gamble you are willing to take.

If you aren't with sky then you can sign up to sky through quidco and that is a pretty good deal, it ends today but you have 14 days cooling off period. So if a better deal does show up before the 21st then you can start again.

BT deals that they advertised as ending in x days x hours were sometimes replaced with better deals, sometimes with worse and sometimes no deal at all.

I've never noticed especially cheap christmas time deal before.

Most providers change their offers regularly and on a specific day.

Changes can be big offers like the one Sky had, recently, the withdrawal of a bonus voucher, cheque or credit, a % discount or a change of offer duration, but sales staff don't seem to know until the offer change day arrives.
