January has continued with another win!:D
I've won a ( halloween :eek): hat! on the Hobgoblin instant win. I think that crosses off something rhyming with 'tat'. Only problem is that the edit button is not showing on my post, so I cannot update anything.:o
Not from personal experience as I am still waiting for mine won recently, but apparently they are sending non - Halloween beanie hats out now.0 -
Marg is that the Hobgoblin one where you choose something you dislike (call centres/road works ect) then you choose a weapon?
When you get going and you hit what you dislike with your chosen weapon do you hit it lots of times or just 20/30 times then use "Death Blow"
I'm never sure what to do?

No mine has vanished as wellJust noticed, it stayed on my last post for around 30 seconds, but when I refreshed the page it was gone.It's back on this post but not my original post :mad:

The edit button disappears after 30 seconds. Even if you click edit straight away and then write your edit, if you take longer than 30secs you get a message saying it's too late to edit 0 -
I've been reading the personal challenges to try and get some inspiration for my monthly challenge but the majority haven't made one. I've not decided what February's challenge will be yet but I think it'll be over on CDB (Competition Database) due to all the changes on MSE (not being able to edit posts will have a massive impact on the dailies & magazine threads.)
So far I've come up with the following:- Enter no competitions on Saturday - might do this challenge in the summer.
- Do 4 pages everyday with the forum set at 100 threads per page.
- Only view the forum from most views.
- Post one competition per day.
- Add 75 winners on CDB.
- Clear the rafflecopter/gleam competitions everyday on CDB.
- Add 150 links on CDB.
- Spend 20 minutes everyday searching for websites that host competitions.
Anyone got any other suggestions that don't involve social media.0 -
Been hearing a lot about CDB. Is it the way forward for comping? finding the glitches on the board annoying. Not liking the 00/00 dating. Feeling paranoid about even liking posts. Love chatting here but the newt is getting twitchy about the rest.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.

Ms Dee tried CD for the first time last night and I think she was impressed, it is much better set out than MSE, as you can choose what kind of comps you would like to enter rather than having to wade through everything.
I go there just to do the Twitter and Cash comps.
The problems with this forum at the moment are really annoying
