Compers Challenge 2018

had a quick update of the list and have managed 37/70 challenges.

Nothing outstanding for this year but had a steady trickle of odds and ends to keep me going.

Hoping for a successful year for us all in 2019

Just won on free treats which takes my total to £2019. I think I have finished 51/70 but got a bit lost half way. Happy New Year everyone and Good Luck for everyone doing the next challenge.

How have you all done on this years Challenge?

I didn't hit the £1000 mark, let alone the £2018, I couldn't win a Twitter competition, but I have completed 37 out of 50 challenges which isn't too bad and got around £860 in prizes. Won some great little prizes, nothing huge but can use most of what I've won or found homes for the little things I couldn't personally use.

Had a great end to the year, I may have lost 4 furbabies this year but gained 2 little nephews over the last few months, been back to work and had some great times with friends and family. Had a fantastic Christmas and I hope you all have a super New Year! I look forward to the challenges ahead next year.

Can we now chat on the 2019 thread? If so, please can Mansey amend tthe first post that still says 'no chat' in big red letters?

I can't remember what the rules are for some of the new challenges. For example, if I enter one of the multiple entry comps, such as NME or expressly every day, does that count as one competition entered regardless of how many days I enter on, or if I enter it on ten different days, does that count as 10 comps entered?

I think the way we have done it previously Marg is..

If you enter a competition 10 times in 1 day it is only 1 competition

but

If you enter a competition once a day for a week it is counted as 7 competitions.

Did you understand that, my head is a bit funny just now :eek:

What I meant is, if I enter the same comp on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday can I count that once per day?

Only managed 35/70 and it's seemed a pretty slow year at times... but I've had 51 wins totalling about £1850, and £650 of that has been assorted vouchers that we'll be using towards (hopefully) buying/decorating/furnishing a house this year so :beer:

Although it's been a really slow start to 2019, I haven't quite got over to the new challenge yet!
