I don't know if the newt likes them, but they would be great to take on a picnic.

    Great thinking Marg :T

Hows our picnic coming along?

Going great - I am relying on you to bring your hamper of posh nosh. When should we have the picnic? Need to allow more time for people to win good picnic stuff, but want to organise it before the mania that is advents starts. Do you think September would be good?

Or it could always go to the newt, avid bird watcher i`m told ;)

You are in fact correct on that.

    Happy Easter :easter_os

    The newt loves Doritos!

We do actually have evidence that this is indeed true. See this post from the 2017 challenge when there were birds nesting at Moneybot Towers.

Well remembered you can have a bonus newt point for that.

This year I think they are nesting in the wisteria on my garage roof

WAIT I've just realised, it's actually a full moon tonight- reckon I could make a ritual offering to The Newt?
Apparently it's a Blue Moon tonight as well, that's surely extra special and would have The Newt looking favourably upon my humble win?

The newt likes the idea of a ritual offering (not sure if this is something I want to encourage mind you. Dogbot looks nervous...).
She will allow your win as something the newt would like.

I worry and have sleepless nights about the people that take part in this challenge .............

........... especially those who do ritual offerings on a night

Well you wouldn't be wanting ritual offerings during daylight now would you? ;)
