Received a really strange email.

Title says competition winner - Reminder, clicked it and it says I`ve got 4 days to use my £20 giftcard. Now, I can`t remember seeing a email saying congratulations you have won. I looked back on the forums and the last thread with these people mentioned was 2017. Also, If I go onto the website it says congratulations so and so you have won the mothers day competition.

We have two problems. I can`t remember entering a competition for these people as I enter too many and secondly nothing on the website costs £20 so I can`t buy anything.

I`ve emailed them back and i`m waiting for a response now but it`s just bizarre.

If you gave the name of the company we could have a looksie see if they ran a Mother's Day comp and what the prizes were.

Lots of runner up prizes are £20 wins when cheapest thing on site is £100 or £20 off when you spend £100 or you entered our competition sorry you didn't win but please accept this 10% off voucher blah de blah.
I have personally never used one of those but if they sell something you really like it could be worth it.

If you go to their website it tells you who the Mothers Day competition winner is, we can't name names here

It sounds like a consolation prize, either bin it or buy something and get 20 quid off :beer:

You could always start a thread on CCC and ask if anyone else got an email/voucher.
I didn't enter the comp so other may be of more help

I received the same email and just pressed delete. I think everyone that didn't win got the same email, not a win in my book just the company trying to generate sales with a discount code. :mad:
