I was in one this afternoon stocking up - but what do I do with tons of baby powder - we won't be able to work through it any time soon!!!
I'll post this on NorthernSoul websites . . . . they can use it on the dancefloor:rotfl: :rotfl: Keep The Faith !0 -
I believe this has now gone back up to full price, £1.94 or thereabouts
They are two different products - I bought the moisturising cream yesterday at 98p, but the Natural Soothing one IS £1.94. They are in different colour tubes - the original looks very similar to the baby talc, the more expensive one was in a pale yellowy colour tube.
Hope that helps!0 -
I've always wondered this sorry if it's been asked before though. When these deals are in the weekly email and you come on here you often find that Martin has the first post like he found the deal but straight after is what is probably the original poster who did actually find it as they have alot more thanks. Why does MArtin or the team feel the need to put his post first is it just for the email or does he want the thanks?;)
Also it says the 9th for Martin's post but 5 days later for what is probably the original post.I could be wrong though of course:)Darren0 -
If you've got a clubcard plus (their savings card account) you get double points on all spend. So you'd get £2 for each £1.52 you spent. And its in cash vouchers to spend in the store. Hmm, thinks. I could get very rich. I could rule the world. I could bring Tesco's crumbling to its knees0

Do the clubcard points normally show on your order ??
I've placed an order, but it doesn't mention them on the confirmation screen - even though my clubcard is entered in the 'my account' section.0 -
Talcom powder is great for sprinkling onto a wooden dancefloor, you can dance like your on skates, if you know anyone who likes "Northern Soul Music" I am sure they will gladly have your spare talcom powder, its a big active scene both here and in Europe:dance:0

I just went into a local store and bought two of the 200g talcums at 79p each - and got NO extra points. Be warned this offer may have been pulled already??You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

I have an issue about all of this "£1 in clubcard points = £4 in deals" stuff.
I know Martin has been saying it for a long time and I don't wish to speak ill of the big man, but a few things I have looked at on the "Clubcard Deals" aren't great value:
e.g. RAC basic cover:
According to Tesco website "normal price £57", "tesco deals price £14.25"
However
Through Quidco £34.99 with £25 cashback = £10
Therefore you'd be better off using your Tesco clubcard vouchers in store for shopping and using the saved cash to buy cover through Quidco.
For other things, maybe its better to use clubcard deals, I don't know... just wanted to let people know that Martin's (seemingly) very hard line telling people to never use clubcard points in store might not be so true in the end.

Agree, in many cases it would be incorrect to assume a full x4 value.
For holidays you often pay brouchure price, and lose some of the internet discounts/ codes/ cashback... and then there's the fact that the supplier might not be the cheapest anyway
I generally work on x3 as a max as a guide
( seem to remember Martin but an example x3.4 figure on it in previous articles)Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
Does anyone know hoe many points it is to fly to Vegas?0
