My cat now hates me!
One of the uses I've found for the talc (he's long haired) is keeping his coat nice and clean by rubbing it with the talc.
But now he keeps seeing me bring bags in of the stuff - I don't think I'll be able to drag him out from under the bed again!!0 -
This is following on from my previous post, (page 7) re: ordering talc etc from tesco.com and using the £10 off a £30 spend
I ordered the items as detailed, but when the delivery came, all 10 talcs were there, but only about half of the other items as they were out of stock. I received the correct amount of points i should have with the number of items received, but even though the cost of my shopping had now fallen to about £20, the bill still showed the £10 off voucher! So i paid about £14.50 to have talcs, soaps, cream, cotton buds and a nice sum of just over 1000 points delivered to my house
I think a few more goes at this before the money off coupon expires is in order
EDIT : Ignore me, sorry to get anyone's hopes up but you can only use the codes once eachDOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER CODES?!

So if I've got this all correct - I can use the Goldsmitsh offer to buy my girlfriend a £200 diamond ring for her birthday - and only pay £76? This is how I worked it out:
Goldsmiths
£200 diamond ring
£2.50 in CC vouchers = £10 off
To get £200 off, need 20x£10 vouchers costing (20x£2.50)=£50 worth of CC Vouchers
£50 worth of CC Vouchers = 5,000 points = 50x100pt deals
Therfore need to buy 100 bottles baby powder
costing 100x0.76 = £76.
I'll have to see if Tesco Southend will let me order 100 bottles of powder!0 -

You have to spend a minimum of £200 at Goldsmiths0 -
If anyone can help me on this, it'd be much appreciated:
After filling the house with talc and racking up the points, i'm a bit confused with the process of 'ordering deals'.
Say, for example, I have 4000 points in my account prior to the November 'cut off date', and i acrue 6000 after it, if I do nothing with the 4000, would 10000 points show on my next statement to order 'deal tokens' all at once? Or do I have to make my mind up now, (when my next CC statement arrives)?
I'm looking to book a holiday in Feb, but don't know who I'll book with yet, so obviously I don't want to order tokens with one company now, only to decide I want to book with another one come February.
Thanks in advanceCrime fighters fight crime, fire firefighters fight fire... Freedom fighters are just wrong...0 -

Try your local womens' refuge as the women often leave with nothing but the clothes they stand up in and would appreciate these. I donated 2 carrier bags of H&B stuff to mine and the staff member I met was very grateful.
