I asked in our local store today about bulk purchasing as there was nothing left on the shelf. Was informed this would be OK and would take a week to delivery and I would pay when collecting.

I think I know I'm right about my calculation but would like confirmation if poss.

I bulk purchase 500 bottle of talc for £380. This gives me £1000 in clubcard deal "money". I can use this to purchase a Cosmos holiday which as long as its the full price using the vouchers then even the deposit can be in vouchers. The cost of the holiday however must be taken from the brochure and not from the website, (which is just as well as the Cosmos website is useless for finding family holiday centres). Am I right or am I right?

No small Talcs, Soaps, Cream or Ear Buds left in my local Tesco today. Hopefully the shelves will be re-stocked soon.

Tesco in Portsmouth has reduced the baby oil to 86p if you are tired of talc!

Do you know that the points will definately be added on after you have paid for the items?
It sounds like a fantastic idea and surely beats my way of going every day in the hope that they will have some products in stock!

I'm now doubting myself. I was in another Tesco later today for something else. Its a bit closer to me than the one I was in before. I asked the same question and go a resounding NO. Said I could only have 10 items and questioned why I would want 500. I did point out that it was none of their business (I was slightly less confrontational than that) but it was still no way. I'm going to try later on tomorrow back at the first store and see if I can still do it. Having my doubts it will work now.

    Hi Dinglebert,
I hope it all works out well for you and hopefully you will get the points. If not can you just reject the order?
You will have to keep us posted.
Good luck and I hope you get your holiday!

In my local Tesco they are no offers on the shelves, I asked at customer services and they said they had no offers on for Johnsons products. Looks like I've missed out
  • I did my normal online shop and added a few of the johnsons products - 4 small talcs, 2 small moisterising tubes and 2 tubs of cotton buds. Left OH with strict instructions to send back the talc if they substituted it with the bigger one - even showed him the small 100g one. Got home and he said he had checked and they had sent the small ones.
When i checked the bag they were the 200g bigger ones!! Thought i would check the list and see what we had been charged for them - and was charged 76p each for them - even though it clearly states it is the 200g one on the receipt.

So... before sending them back straight away check to see what you have been charged for the large ones.

I only got 400 points for that lot as i didn't want to push my luck - another 300 the other day but still a long way off from the 1000's of points i need to get OH's wedding ring for next year!!

They are still selling them at our local tescos and with the offer. There are no signs on the shelves though but they are definately still running the offer.

At both my local stores (Sheffield and Rotherham) it says on the shelves that the offer is running until the 13th November. So plenty of time to buy.
