    It's all about turnover, if you have a good turnover then a proper merchant like Streamline is the way to go.


    The rates are low and it's debit card transaction are set at 20-25p regardless of the amount rather than 2.75% that the likes of Paypal etc charge.


    The I-zettles etc are handy for people on lower turnovers as there is no contract but any established business would be mad not to go with a proper merchant.

    Bris, what is the PAYG "transaction rate" at Streamline.
    Their website says this (for PAYG):


    Charges

    No fixed montly commitment and a single transaction rate**

    Transaction authorisation fees apply
    Gateway fee, 10p per transaction


    but I cannot find anywhere the details. How much for instance do they charge to take payment with Visa cc & Amex cc ?


    Also it seems Streamline belongs to Worldpay, is their data connection more reliable than wpz ? I guess as the service is more professional, it should be.


    How much per month would turnover qualify as "good" ?
